Perak Museum
The oldest museum in the country, which dates back to 1883. The best place to begin an in-depth study of the state and its history as it houses an impresive collection of ancient weapons, aboriginal implements, ornaments and archeological treasures. Artifacts from the state's rich historical culture and heritage also on display. Free admission.

Masjid Ubudiah
The Ubudiah Mosque was built in 1917 during the reign of the 28th Sultan Idris Murshidul'adzam Shah, whose order to bulid the mosque of great beauty as thanksgiving from recovery from an illness which plagued him in those early years. Its golden dome and minarets create a spellbinding sight, from near or afar.

Previously known as Istana Kenangan. This former royal residence was built without a single nail.

Located on Bukit Chandan about 1.5km from Kuala Kangsar town and just a short distance from Ubudiah Mosque. It's a unique gallery reconstructed from Istana Ulu, a former palace in Kuala Kangsar, the Royal Town of Perak. Also known as Istana Cinta Berahi, Istana Cempaka Sari or Istana Kota. It was built by Captain Maurice Alexander Cameron, Assistant Colonial Engineer in 1903. Most of the building materials were brought from foreign country such as roofs from France, tiles from Italy and cooper dome from India.

Kinta District, Perak

Ipoh Raiway Station -- The local call it the "Taj Mahal of Ipoh" due to its grand facade. It was built during the height of Ipoh's tin-mining success in the early 1900s.



D.R.Seenivasagam Park -- Located in the heart of Ipoh. The park is known for its scenis beauty and recreational facilities. There is an artificial lake with different kind of fish, a potted plants nursery and a children playground.
